MYHA Announces New Boys’ Midget Coach for the 23/24 Season
The MYHA Board of Directors are excited to announce Jeff Prime as our new Boys Midget Coach for the 23/24 season. Jeff has over 30 years of coaching experience at all levels of hockey. He coached the US Men’s and US Women’s inline hockey national teams winning four world championships. He spent twenty five years in Southern California running ice and inland hockey facilities, working with LA Hockey Club and The California Wave. Jeff has received international acclaim for his ice hockey instruction in Japan, Colombia, Ecuador, and Brazil. He has been able to make a significant impact with players at all levels from squirts, to Juniors and Division 1 and as a Team USA Girls Development Coach from 00-10 and as Team USA Men’s Development Coach from 2016-17.
This is a first step in implementing a plan to recruit and pay for professional coaches at the Bantam, U14, and Midget levels for the 24/25 season. We are close to announcing some exciting news for our Hollyhocks in the coming days!
