MYHA and Hollyhocks Announce New U14 Head Coach for the 2023-2024 Season
MYHA and The Hollyhocks are thrilled to announce Emmalee Forristall as the 23/24 U14 Head Coach.
Emmalee played four years of hockey at Stonehill College while coaching small groups and private lessons on the South Shore. She currently attends Boston College, studying Athlete Performance and Development. Emmalee was the Head Coach of the U10 Boston Americans Hockey team in 22/23 and is a member of the Scouting Staff for the Boston Bruins through their DEI Program.
Emmalee serves as the Director of 23 Hockey. She and her staff believe that the best hockey players never stop learning. Her coaching drills emphasize game-like situations so that you are ready whenever and wherever you step on the ice. Using the “Deliberate” Practice model, she pushes her players outside their comfort zone in an effort to reach greater levels of achievement and improved confidence.
Emmalee and her team will also be conducting pop-up style clinics for MYHA this season. She will work with small groups needing “like” development and attention and the co-ed Squirt and Peewee levels.
This is the 2nd step in trialing a new concept for the 24/25 season which is to recruit and pay for private coaching at the Bantam, Midget, and U14 levels.
